Yeah I know exactly how you feel, it can get quite frustrating sometimes lol. It is a great place to float fish and even try target them on fly but unfortunately something bad happened to the dam on the weekend, i was actually going to float fish until we got there, the info about the dam is here http://www.sealine.co.za/view_topic.php?id=36353&forum_id=3

Dowerglen dam is in Edenvale, in the suburb of Dowerglen ext. 3. It picturesque and an awesome place to fish, the biggest Common that has come out to my knowledge was 13kgs!

Seems like the women are kicking ass this year, lol! Walker's, you'd better make a plan boet, hahaha...!!!!!

My wife's bee asking me to take her fishing, but I have a bad feeling she's gona beat me, lol! Beginners luck can be bad, lol!

As for your wife, try postpone it as much as possible lol, just in case she outfishes you haha!

I'm starting fishing in 'April' Can you PM me what set up you use for 'Carp' over there.. As I would love to try something different over here & in the South African style tradition.
