i Cannot Top it , all i can show you is a very bad Image of what I'm using currently .
The Trace is a bit battered and beaten , but it works .
currently , i believe This system or method , to be The best Method possible , by which to Attach a bait to a hook for clipping purposes , to get distance to put a bait Out Far .
I have Tried All Other methods , And they have basically failed . The other Method i previously used , was very Similar to a Dangle . The Bottom hooks' Trace wire was ideally Coated In Foam , sinker clipped to the bottom hook .
The Net Result is that It renders the top hook Useless , as the bait climbs up during the cast and pushed itself up between the steel and the top hook( not always , just saying though ) - In effect Rendering the top hook in a sideways Fashion- useless To all but the biggest of fish ..... It Kinked the wire , And Made for an unsightly resemblence of what a trace Is supposed to look like , or how It Looked before you baited up .
By dangling the bait From the top hook - The bait has nowhere to go , and -the bottom hook will not be "lost" during the Cast ...(No weight Bearing upon it- a Perfect skelm hook in the truest sense )

That`s how i have started doing my baits now, but without the bottom hook for fishing over rough/rocks,
i tie a braid loop from my circle hook with a small bit of either foam or Velcro, to which a attach my bait to that.
Another way i use is a thing called the D-vice but unfortunately the company have closed down shame because they where very good, even over rough/rocks i never lost any from getting stuck, they always plained to the surface upon the retrieve.
