Hi Guys, some assistance please.  Bought a new Seadoo 130 GTI, very nice ski, and used it at Pearly Beach near Gansbaai.  Now this area has a lot of kelp, especially at the beach launching site.  Tried to stay clear of the kelp, but this is difficuly, and twice got kelp sucked through the inlet grate and wound around the impeller shaft, blocking the water flow.  This caused the impeller to cavitate to such extend that the ski would hardly move.  Not nice if this happens some way out in the sea. 

Does anybody has a suggestion to prevent this problem, maybe a screen installed over the inlet grate?

unfortunately there is no fix for this,if you modify the pump inlet the ski will just cavitate and have no drive, you are going to have to just miss the kelp

I just recieved 5 yesturday but they are all sold,i got the whole first shipment last month and all went in 2 days.the trim tilt works really well and it also has cruise control.I am rigging one out this week full house with FASTPODS so i will send you some pics
