Not sure if fishing is permitted but have seen numerous fisherman trying for carp.

Good luck - not sure how much access there is to fishable spots as it looks quite overgrown in areas.

Is it the park with the SASCOC offices on the opposite side of the highway?

The park crosses the highway. The SASCOC offices are on the eastern side. The dam is on the western side, next to Acrobranch. Runs into Birdhaven and Melrose.
