october good for steenies there.. also big kob. you guys been succesful as from this date if not now's the time to fish it hard.

hi.. yes its broken road.. one of the few spots there where you dont need a grab sinker.. havent fished it for many a month and think i must start revisiting it again even if its a bit of a walk

dont need to cast far as i was using a 10ft loomis with a bass style levelwind reel.. maybe 30 or so meter cast.. earlier on my first cast when putting the rod in pension pipe something picked me up and i couldnt take rod out of pension pipe and lost it.. with this one i was ready but reel had sticky drag and every time fish went for a run i had to literally pull line for it.
