Hi guys,

It's cool to see that you guys are running another saltwater fishing competition, and I wanna wish all the participants the best of luck.  I would however like to make a suggestion for having a fresh water competition for those of us that are not too clued up on the finer aspects of saltwater angling.  Maybe we could arrange for an overnight competition at any one of our various dams in KZN such as Albert Falls Dam (my resident fishing grounds, at which I know there is all the infrastructure like campsites and lodges, slipways, and various fishing spots for different species).  I really like the idea of 1 point per KG, hence the competition will not be bias to boat fisherman.  We could also look at having a species specific competition.  I would really appreciate a response from admin and members.  Lets get this party started !!!

I think we need to look at this/...I know the Emperor has posted before about freshwater and I think It will come soon

And I am sure some of the saltwater anglers will join as well...so keep on the forum and I am sure it will come up soon

Yes i remember our Emperor posting about a fresh water social soon so i guess we just have to be patient.I am sure that these comps take alot of preparation so lets wait and see..

I am a die hard salt water guy but i would love to get more involved with the fresh water seen as well so why dont we keep posting on this topic with sugestions and ideas for the fresh water social hopefully it will help with the finer details of planning..

Great idea guys.

I'm living in PMB for almost a year now and have never fished in any of the dams. Actaully I know nothing about dam fishing. A fresh water social will be a great place for guys like myself to learn a thing or two from the pros about dam fishing.
