Hi guys, I'm starting a new job in George in August.

Would like to know if anybody knows of a nice flat or garden apartment that is available. I have found a few places on Gumtree but more options are always welcome.

Which angling clubs are in the area, I will probably only fish socialy this year but would like to meet up with some anglers.

Ja nee Strepie, dis mooi wereld daai en die werk klink heel interesant so dis nogal opwindende tyd vir my.

Sommer dankie se vir die pm's, ek nou klein huisie vol kontakte en in die George Herold is daar sommer heelwat blyplek.

Hoe werk julle club, kan mens sosiaal aansluit of moet mens affilieer, ek gaan eers net sosiaal kan hengel vir jaar of wat en sal dan weer club sake aanvat.

Lekke..... when you are settled, ons sal mekaar kan ontmoet, daar is baie hengelaars in die omgewing.

Good luck with you new venture, sorry I am not in the property besigheid.

I will suggest contact the Pam Golding or Seef offices in the area.

I have fished some of the spots around there, including Voelklip, Island Lake and the Stretch from Groot Brak to Mosselbay, but nothing like getting to know a new area!

Plenty of places to stay in George, so no problem there.
