hi guys!

i would like to know if rollers on trailers can damage the hull on a waverunner jetski?

i will be towing my ski up and down to moz and the stretch of road (about 60 km) before vilanculo is a nightmare with those pot holes.

i'm keen to use rollers on my trailer because i load/unload my ski on my own and my 4*4/ trailer combo doesnt give a steep angle to slide jetski easily. i have to rock the ski sideways while pushing and doing lots of different things/exercises( not found in gym) to get it off right!

hi guys!

i found on a nz.co website that applying a silicon spray after every second launch helps alot. whats silicon spray? q20 or rust remover or something like that? does it work on felt pads? does anyone know?

Silicon spray is just that, silicon. It works as a dry lubricant and dust does not stick to it like q20. Not sure about it working on felt pads. Also great for locks and ignition switches. Available at most hardware stores.

I don't know much about jet ski trailers, but have a fair bit of experance with boat trailers.
Nylon keel rollers,the type with a brass sleeve and stainless steel pin, will make the launching and retriving of any type of vessel up to 5m a one man opperation.
I push my 5m ski-boat off the trailer single handed without even getting the wheel bearings in the water.
Your ski will not be damaged with these rollers due to the fact that the weight will be carried on the keel which is the strongest part of the hull.

Get Q8, it is silicone sparay. Silicone spray will dry and leave a thin film. It is excellent for electrical components and treating engine parts because it can handle excessive tepratures.

I installed a winch, which I could remove, on my trailer. There's nothing nicer than enjoying a cold one in the one hand while winching with the other hand. Especially after a hard days fishing!::S

thanks for the reply
i just had my first experience launching and trailering for over three weeks in vilanculo.the launch is very shallow and you have to get car wet most of time especially if you late with the tides.i am deciding to go the whole 9 yards and install rollers on trailer and electric winch because i mostly launch alone

No Gym contract required to winch (manual) my puppy....

I have a RXP Sea Doo and I fitted rollers to my trailer and what a pressure.  As you know Moz is very shallow and you have to push your ski in a long way and then you battle getting you ski on the trailer when you come back or you must stay out and weight for high tide.  I load my ski with only the hand winch in no time.  As for the potholes I used 11 wheels on a sight therefore the load of the ski is evenly spread over the 22 wheels.  Just make sure you ski is strapped properly and do not carry to mush fuel

Hi Mh.I have rollers on my trailer as well as a Electric winch.Just got back from Sherly Beach today,my ski still full of fuel as I didn't manage to launch yesterday.Towed my ski back to harties without any problems with the rollers.Word of advice,don't release your winch and tri to launch like the guys with the ski boats,you will find your ski on the beach with no water near you.Dont ask questions,lol!!!!The ski runs down the rollers with no issue at all.Must say,this weekend was my first outing with my ski on the big blue,wow,what an experience,didn't catch anything but learnt a lot!Can't wait till December.

I have beach rollers for launching Jetskis......So easy and doesn't get your trailer wet. With or without rollers it is so easy. I will be making a video of how to use them in the next week or two

I was going to do it today but I caught and videoed a Sail Fish and ran the GoPro battery flat...Lifes tough! I will do it as soon as possible.

Its not one of my best videos!!!! I was barely awake I'd only been in the water 5 minutes...Really caught me out!!!!

I will get it edited and upload to Youtube I have got lots of fishing footage. Did you see the video at the boat show of my acrobatic Dorado?

Great reaction from everyone who seen it :).....I have got some hilarious footage GoFish mag have a lot of the footage and starting GoFish TV

The first time I showed it at the boat show I couldn't turn the sound down quick enough...Its even funnier with my accent!!!!

No just starting now but I have lots of footage (must is rubbish but there is some good stuff)
