Hi Guys , I need technical advice on following

I built a very fast bait boat and now I am not sure how to prevent hook and feeder set up from jumping out of a bait bucket during the pull out.
 
I have attached photo so you can see what it looks like .
Both buckets will drop at same time . One bucket will be used for ground feed while other one will carry hook and feeder.
Now, do I make small slot for line to get in ? , deep slot , slot on side - which side or in middle ?
If to make slot should it be cut at angle or straight ?

Do I rubberize the slot to get more friction on swivel - stopper .  Is there any other idea or system that it works better.

Also how do you prevent swivel from getting  jammed if to make a slot . Is it better to put large bead above swivel ?
Any advice or a photo will be highly appreciated

hi.

my boat has 2 engines and thus also faster that the avg bait boat. my buckets has got the slots on the sides with no angle, i havnt had trouble with it yet. as soon as the bucket is dropped and the slot is at a backwards angle, the wieght of the line its dragging will automatically pull the bait out. I dont think you have to over think or over design this aspect.

Hi Unlimited - thanks for advice , just tell me how long are the slots - should I go all the way to the bottom of bucket or maybe just few cm.
Boat is a bit uncontrollable, It tends to jump out of water when power is even gently pushed and then nose faces sky ( virtually at 45 deg)  and at  that  moment  trace can fall out .
I am looking to move more weight towards the nose as that is a problem at this stage - too heavy at the back and bit overpowered too .

itsall the way down to about 1ckm from the bottom... have you considered installing a speed control? you should then be able to drive towards your target area slower and then drop, and haul asss back again.
