I don't even know what circle hooks I bought ai I paid r75 for 5 hooks 18/0 they are silwer and I think they are mustad hooks are they any good?

I love them but only use the 20/0.

a circle hook dosnt help sumtyms as i got biten off within 20secounds using a 19/0 eagle claw circle and 200lb carbon coated steel and it bit my steel trace cleaner than i could cut it with side cutters, iv now moved to 440lb stainless steel wire, its great stuff to use because its flexible,long lasting and very strong.

If II crimp the tag end I have been told that copper crimps work the best for steel. Does the metal your crimps are made of make a big difference?

Yes the aluminium ones are for Monofilament (Nylon)

For steel you use the Brass sleeves (usually nickel plated so they appear black.
