Thanks Capiez, the only place in the Kafue that has Tigers seem to be where the Kafue and Zambezi split. I thought about trying flies, but don't have a decent fly setup (still on my "to get" list").I also think flyfishing will work very well there with all the rapids, but will have to try another time. Strange thing is it seem to me that I caught bigger largemouths in June, then now in Nov-Des. Thought because they are breeding the fish would be bigger.

Forget the fishing tips and start giving some financial ones - how does one get to go on a trip like that on a student budget, for 40 days!
Jokes aside, awsome trip and nice to get the feedback, thanks!

Contacts - I was lucky enough to meet one of the owners of a hunting lodge next to the river. The fishing was very good and I finally got the chance to add a few new species to my specie list. With the added species of this trip I am currently on 60 freshwater species caught on Artlure. Thanks for the reply GdP::S

Here are some of the new entries to my list

Not hundred percent sure what species of ghieliemientjie this is

Redeye mudfish - they were shining on rocks abundantly (struggled many times in SA to get one of these in the mouth)
