Hi All,

We will be heading off to Roodekoppies dam this weekend and will be going to the old NTVL Grounds for a bit of fishing. I have done the search on sealine and found some information. I would just like to know who has been there recently and what worked well for them.

We are hopeing to have a good catch weekend.

Don't know the dam at all, but hope you get lots of fish!

Hi its a very nice place ,but beware they do steel allot lately.

They normally cut the tent while the people are a sleep. To steel what ever they can find !!!

Fritzabu, is this at the NTVL Grounds??? I have been there before and had no troubles. As they say, safety in numbers, we are 12 people going.

Have you been there recently.

My son's and some friends where there 2 weekends, ago when their tent was cut open and the one guy's cellphone stolen.

Just before the winter my neighbour,was there and they also cut his tent open.That for a pair of saddles.

2 weeks before that, his brother also got robed, of some items there.

All was there at the old NTVL camp ground .

I heard from other customers, that they also had problems at some of the other places around Roodekopjes .

Koos at Dennekruin I am told now employ guards over weekends

Sh1t, Will these clowns not stop and leave us to fish in peace. Let us then hope all goes well and if they do try something and we do manage to get hold of one of them, We could test it out as barbel bait. Suppose the best would be to have the cops numbers handy just incase.

We are also about six heading for Roodekopjes from Friday to Sunday,we don't go to the old g Grounds any more because of the GHOST's.

We now fish at the dam wall on the Righthand side and never had a problem. Happy fishing

Could you recomend any Baits to be used @ Roodekopjes. We will go for Carp only
