Hi All,

We are heading down to Mazeppa Bay in 3 weeks time. Has anyone fished there recently? I cant find any new Reports on it. I have been there is June a couple of times and I have had the best fishing time during June/July in Mazeppa.

Donovon got a nice Zambi 2 weeks ago and a few smaller Bronzies. Next Group got a few hidings but mainly just fish jumping them off

Garrick have been thick with groups landing up to 19 in a day and Malcolm got a Yellowfin Tuna off the Island

Will be there from the 28th till the 5 of July and then probably in the 3rd week

Enigma, tell us more about this yellow fin tuna off the island. Did he get hooked up whilst targetting a shark? Do you have any more details?

Lol, I want to see the day Malcolm throws for a shark, it would be a sighn that the world is coming to an end. Haha.
We will also be there from the 12th to the 16th of June and again 5-11 July. Excitement is building!!

Correct 80 year old Malcolm. He's a moeilike man that, hates us shark anglers and won't hesitate to throw a plug on braid over you if your shark is in the way of chasing Garrick...... All he says is he's to old to see your line (Bur he can see chasing Garrick) We grin and bare it.... He is a legend and commands respect down there.

He hasn't fished with bait in over 30 years.

Last trip he got a 22.8kg Leerie of Shark Point

LOL...I have myself come across a few 70-80 year old alpha males at the waters. Its best to give them a wide girth. There is a reason why they have survived that long.
