Thanks Nobbles! What I am actually wondering about or trying to find out is what nutrition the cats prefer at certain times of the year. Obviously protein is always on top of the list but maybe they "prefer" A higher fat/oil content just before winter and maybe higher protein less fat just before summer? This might be over analizing or over complicating things A bit but maybe not hehe. Sometimes they might prefer food for instant energy (spawning?) or sometimes they might prever just building up their fat stores (end autum)? I know they cant realy choose what to eat most of the time but I think it might help if one can find out exactly what they want/need at specific times. A sardine or platti or chick are all good baits but they differ when it comes to all the nutritional values they have. It is A good Idea to take all 3 baits with to see whats going to work but I think if one can go A bit further and allready know what will work before hand one can divercify even more. Say if on the day you find that the chicks are working best it might have helped to have had chicks doves and say weavers for argument sake to choose from. If its fish theyre after it might have helped to have had 3 or 4 different fish to use to see what works best. Hope I am explaining this the way I am thinking! Maybe it wont make any difference at all and will be better just staying with the basics we know but I prefer to at least try and get some ideas and opinions before trying or disregarding any ideas you know what I mean.
