Hi All

The 'non-eds gogga' bit me last December and need some advice. We are going to the Lamberts bay area in December and I would like to have a few slides for sharks. First of all, are there sharks in these waters, and secondly where?

I do not mind driving, but not more than 120km.

Regards,

There might be a non-ed or two cruising around in Lamberts, but most of the beaches there are for swimmers and surfers, and they might take offense if someone starts sliding out a big bloody bait while they are in the water.

A nice option is to drive through to Langebaan for the day and target Smoothies in the lagoon. They do put up a lekker fight. Small chokka baits and mullet heads are your best options for bait.

If you do a search on Langebaan, you'll find info on spots where guys slide and catch Bronzies.

Lambertsbaai is more renown for the Hotties and Crayfish. Pack your wetsuit and take a dive.
