I can't get the pics downloaded from my Cell to my PC but will make a plan soon.
Went there again on Sat afternoon, first went and catch some carp with the kids in the morning got eight nice ones biggest 3.5kg then stopped at Indawo as it’s on our way. Only managed to get two Bass this weekend, from 17 last weekend to 2 this weekend just getting better and better Ha Ha. One could see the bass but didn't matter what I do or try they just didn't want to take anything, teased them with everything in my box to no avail. Got the softies right in front of the buggers but they would just attack the minnows, ungrateful buggers feeding them in there nest's and still they don't want to take the free offerings. Water temperature was colder than last weekend and one could see the male bass in the nest. I will probably try again in two or three weekends from now as the fry should be out of the nest in three weeks.
The Ranch is on the Ermelo Piet Retief road 20 km outside Ermelo, they got nice chalets and might be a nice stop over if going down to the northern coast.
Johanvc you’re welcome to contact me if you are down here in Dec won’t mind to go fishing with you, from what I seen in the forums I will probably learn a lot from you. I know what bass fishing is about but I’m not an expert like you guys. Always good to learn from guys that knows ins and outs.

Lerouxjaco: You can join me anytime. I always enjoy meeting new people. And sharing info. I just need to see what the doctor says. I am going in tomorrow morning for a sonar and x-rays as i have a torn muscle in my shoulder. And due to that i have to fall out of our divisionals witch i worked so hard for to go in for a shoulder operation and the doctor says i need 6 weeks to recover. So after tomorrow I will let you know when I will be coming down. I will use that time to train my shoulder after the operation at the dams you talking about.

Hope the ops goes well on the shoulder, 6 weeks is a while to be out of fishing. You're welcome to let me know when you want to come down here. See you like Witbank dam maybe you can share some advice on good spots there, stayed in witbank for 3 years (high school) used to take the bicycles down to the olifants close to the power station got some good memories of that dam, but not Bass.

It's always an advantage being close to good water, luckily moved from witbank to Sasolburg and had the vaal to enjoy. Let me know if you are still coming down Dec.
Don't want to sound too clever on this but it seems as if darker colours works well in this area as well as plain worms. If you do pop up maybe bring one or two darker lures or you can get from Ermelo sport there prices is very competitive, think in this region only Gani's gives them competition with lures and they have a big variety (for a small town like this). Just glad summer is here as we can start doing some serious fishing again, isn't nice to fish this area in winter as this place gets leopard cold in winter.
