Hi all,help needed with aquaquad

Hi all,just to say hello from the uk as new here.

I have just purchased an Aquaquad CLX and a yamaha 40hp engine.

my question is this...

How does steering and accelerator (throttle grip) attach,im needing some sort of bracket for the engine,for steering cable,i made one but it doesnt seem to turn only one way.

Does any one have any infomation or pics or diagrams on how i can make this so it will work,if so that would be great.

Any web sites or dealers/shops as there is nothing about in the UK that i can find.

Well its been 11 months now and still no reply from jaques .I have actually phoned south africa to speak to jaques but still no joy any pictures appreciated thanks. Seddo :fishn

Can't say I'm hugely surprised... I contacted them some time back about a boat they had on the floor and it took another 3 calls to get them to respond.

I did get good response out of Durban Honda on a different issue though... go onto http://www.hondamarinedbn.co.za/contact.php and try them instead.

Dont know whats going on here still no service from honda marine pinetown, have emailed , and actually phoned them and still havent got the information i want. Not a happy chappie

Hello there there isnt a main dealer for aquaquad but i bought mine from a company in southampton uk who must of imported them as he had a few. Mine didnt come with an engine bracket. Have tried honda marine email and phoned on more than one ocassion but cant seem to get a responce thanks.... Seddo

not much you can do there, unless you get a proper steering cable etc.
