Hi all,

Has anyone been to golden Harvest dam lately, im going there tomorrow and was wondering about the place. cause im looking for somewhere close to my house in randburg. If anyone has any tip place etc...

Hi There,

Been to golden harvest a couple of times and blanked everytime. You can see the fish playing yet I am not able to catch them.

Nice little place to go, was there on 16 Dec and metro was there checking all the cars entering and leaving the premisses

When i was there last, one the guys the said you should go to the other side close to the island.

I have also heard that and I went to try out the new bass stuff I bought so was not really trying for Carp, however there was lots of activity, Saw some cats playing on the edge of the dam as well. It is very close to my house so I like going there even if it is just for a hour or so.

I just  that I will land one soon there

I also  that i land one there, but hey it will come.

Im going to go there between the xmas and new year looking for that big one.

If i get anything i will post pics.

I am hopeing to go on monday the 27th being a public holiday, I just want to be there early, not sure what time they open just hope it is around 5 so that I can just do a morning stint and hopefully catch some bass, between the trees on the opposite side.

I read that they open around 6am and close at around 6pm.

If im free i may see you there the same day.

Ja we were there saterday last week and caught 10 smaal carp, looking very healty however we did not manage any big ones.

where is the entrance and wat time do the gates open and close.
is there parking ?
shot visiting family in randparkridge grew up on the golfcourse and used to fish for fun on the dams in the course subsequently fences hav been erected and nazi patrols curbing after hours visitors.so need a local spot to wet a line

The gates open at 6am and close at 6pm, Parking is available right by the little dam. What worked for me was Caramel Floaties and Stuttafords bol dip.

Hi guys. Can sum1 giv me info of wer golden harvest is? I wana go this saturday. Any1 been there recently. I normally fish for carp but don't mind trying for bass. Any tips??????
