Hi all could you please point me in the direction of where i can get mushroom sinker molds. If any body manufactures them ill be glad to give them a call.:alien

Why not make them yourself?

You can buy moulding silicone for R140 make a copy of the sinker you wanna make and pour lead into the silicone.

It's good for 600 deg C

I think lead melts at about 80 (Please don't quote me on this)

Basically to cut all the BS you can pour lead into the silicone mould provided your lead is not boiling............................................

I've done it and it works.........................

Thanks to all the others for new insight on the melting point of lead and the boiling point too for that matter......................:doh

So with lead melting at 327.5 deg C it should still work.
