Hey guys

I would like to know who has caught something on a bucktail jig and in what conditions.

Looking foward to responses, really starting to take a liking to artificials.

a few jack crevalle in the most horrific conditions! They never seem to stop working - only white and "chatrease"!

If I have to choose one lure for the rest of my life it will be a 1ounce yellow bucktail.You can catch almost anything in any conditions on it.

I've got some of these in molds.

My buddy made them, painted them and sent me 7 different sizes.

I should have the molds done by next weekend.

Hi y'all. Gerhard has fished with me and Mikey is beginning to understand my obsession with SPRO bucktails. There is no self contained, more durable jig than an SPRO bucktail! I have caught almost as many fish species on the glow SPRO in various sizes as a Gulp 3" minnow on a 1/8ounce jig jighead - and that's well over 40! They catch big fish and throughout the water column.

There are other jigs that look similar - you can even buy molds that resemble the SPRO  and I have them and fish them but nothing comes close!

FISH THESE LURES WITH CONFIDENCE !!! Gamakatsu hooks baby, Gamakatsu hooks!

I've caught on the troll, vertical jig and various shallow, fast retrieves. Screw Obama, the inventor of these should be given the Nobel!

my best session is 30 garrick in 3 hours on bucktail. This one is hooked through its fin, that happens sometimes with garrick, they turn so fast that they miss the hook but end up foul hooking themselves

I must also mention, the bucktail that caught me all these fish was given to me by a sealine member, munga from 'team leadhead'. He gave it to me to try out, and before he had gotten to the parking lot i had caught my first ever garrick
