It was one of those grab and run days. When i got to collect the crickets I realised I did not even take any weights nor my camera, Biggest is around 4 kilo's. I might be there again this sunday, will definitely include some photo's.

Even caught one on a pink kiddy rod that was left unattended by people I met at the spot. I would never have a photo taken with a pink rod in hand though.

It's been a while since I've done Rietvlei and to be honest with you I go for Carp at Rietvlei. I've never tried for any other species.

Last time I heard of Rietvlei they had a grass issue. I do not know what the condition is currently. It is for this reason that I visit Roodeplaat instead, but like I said previously this venue does get packed.
