mmmmm - im checking on DSTV....seems sketchy, but I think saweather.co.za is a reliable site! ja well no fine i hear from a good source(Peter @ grants sports - knysna) the water is cold and there has been a lot of rain.

i am taking a freezer with ..it is full at the moment but as bait comes out there will be space to add stuff in...

the day has arrived i am leaving tonight..woooohoooo

The weather is looking up ..which is a good thing

A very important notice.....make sure that you have a spare drum of fuel and your tank in full before you leave umtata...it is that last place to get fuel before hole in the wall...

Just got back from an awesome, awesome trip... seems as if a lot of info relayed back to guys at home stayed quiet... re: fishing reports...!

Very, very tired from hard fishing... sore feet, sore back and joints... eish!

Here is a very brief run down of catches... Homie to put a full report ...

Monday

Skrops 2 Raggies - 40 and 90 kg
Reefz - 1 Raggie - 50 kg
Kumz - Stunpies, Blacktails and edibles. Kumz broke his Pentagon!

Tuesday

Mike - Bronze Whaler - 50kg
Reefz - 2 Hammers - 15kg
Skrops - 1 hammer
Kumz - ++ edibles

Wednesday Comp (notable catches - the ones I can remember!! sorry if I left you out...)

Mike Pike - 64kg Raggie
Ruler - 50 kg Raggie
Darren Mussels - Hammerhead
Action man - Kob
Rods - Blacktails
Yolanda and Andries -  edibles
Ballie - 94cm Kob
Defenition - 2 Lesser sandsharks

Thursday Comp

Mike Pike - 8kg Kob
Defenition - got something, can't remember either...
Ruler got something too... Kob I think?
Reefz 2kg Bronxe Bream on dropshot
Lots of other small eds came out....

Plenty huge hook ups, plenty losses... very difficult conditions to land fish...

All in - hard work, what a great bunch of okes...

SEA was HUGE on the comp days with swells of over 6m... At Maphuzi, the waves were spraying over the TOP!! Thats 25m high!

THE BOTTOM LINE IS..... GP RULES! We had a CLEAN SWEEP of all Sections.... If one angler was allowed more than 1 prize. it would have been a GP WHITEWASH!

Go GP! Thanks to all who made it so worthwhile, Kumz, Darren, Skrops, Mike Homie, Eddie, Pieterh, Andriesh, Stuart - LUV u okes hay!!!
