hey KG

ive got a DM Craft and it works beautifuly.i was at hartebeespoort on wednesday and took out lines 400m at the oberon side.the boat is great.i dont know much about the other ones but i think the carp king is pretty much the same.

they pretty fast and stable.and can carry really nice size baits.

hope this helps you

i have the sensation navigator. when i put line out i need to you binoculars to get it back thats how far it goes and when it loses signal it turns itself around till you get it coming back to signal so unlike carp kings that i have seen owner swimming in the damns to go fetch. i paid 5k for mine and very happy with it. if i am not mistaken it can handle about 2kg of bait on one trip. i have used it on a windy day where the waves were as bug as the boat and it had no problems even has reverse and wheedless propellors.

the DM is rated to 1000m but personaly only taken to +-400m with no problems.400m is plenty far hard to see the damn thing at that range.i saw it in the tight lines for around R3100 but you can probably get a good discount at Anglers Den bedfordview(ill give you the number on thursday, left my cell at the office and im out of town till then)

ive only used the DM Craft so i cant say fairly which is better.all i can say is that i dig mine at runs very well does the job right everytime.

so i would recommend it.

enjoy

Hey eli,

What do you think the chances are of the DM Craft deciding to stay in the middle of the dam and I have to swim in croc infested waters to retrieve my R3200 bait boat?

ive had mine for almost a year now with absolutely no such thing and ive used it on some really windy days.

the one guy at work has one and also is very hapy with it.so i honestly think its a good one.some tell me the carp king is better.i dont know if that is true cause ive never used one.

Have you heard of that fishfinder for your bait boat? I seems like quite a useful gadget, i just want to know if it is worth the R1500?

never heard of one for the DM,saw the one for the magnum the other day.its cool but i still enjoy the idea of just dropping baits blind.you never know what can pick u up

I have a DM craft and the boat is brilliant. I haven't experienced any problems whatsoever. I have also met a guy during a fishing trip at Vaalkop dam and he reckons that my DM is faster then his king Carp. The DM Craft boats are really fast!!

@ Bernard,

Is this the bait boat Solomons are advertising for R4200? If it is, it looks like a smart bait boat.

No. It is a baitboat that you can use to take out lines even from the beachshore. It is able to handle the waves. Quality is tops. They even used it as lifesaver equipment.
