Hey all,
I want to maybe try to go to Brookwood trout farm for a Sunday one week. I will try for pretty much all the species there and I will most probably take a friend.
How busy will it be on a Sunday.
Any tips or past fishing experiences will be appreciated.

Mark, Brookwood very nice to just relax. One of those places where you take some one to introduce them to fishing. The venue gets pretty busy from time to time. For trout I will suggest some black/ green weighted woolly buggers and some white Xmas trees later in the day. A sinking line works better for me most of the time. Use short sharp retrieves with a long pull every now and then. Let the line sink for a count of about 25-30. I prefer the top dam closest to the toilets. The bottom dam has yellows, carp, bass and some trout in it. the three top dams are fly fishing only and all trout must be kept. Take some lekka meat to braai nad enjoy the day
