I'm looking at fishing the area around Hermanus for the rest of the year and want to get a bit more info on the area. I know it's long past it's hay days but sure there are still fish to be had.
Basically what I know is Steenbras and Galjoen on the Plaat, hotties off the bricks and then the odd china snook and bait fish at the new harbour.
How about Kob/Geelbek?
Can one target yellow tail from the side?
Gurnards, time of year from the bricks?
Can one still catch red fish from shore?
