Not the best place to go on a weekend with a group to fish because the spots are rather quit small. but a good venue none the less.Note Roodeplaat is not an easy venue when compared to harties and vaal.
Give this a try- Fish with worm and float in front then dipped in vaaldam and then in red flouro then put a little lootie on the ball.
lootie seems like a good dip for the area as one of the other sealine members advised me on my first visit to the venue and it worked very well.
Some guys caught barbel with platannas but worms is a good bait.
As far as i know if you sit on the extreme left and take your lines out 200m then you in the line of some big fish. I have not fished on the left.
