Help Please With GX300

I have recently had a Gme GX300 radio fitted on my boat and they say that it is able to switch between marine mode and cb mode for normal channels (1-48) please can you guys help me to get it to switch it's curent mode to normal cb mode!

The CB radio's were 27 meg and the ski-boat's work on 29 meg, so you can't use one radio for both.

The GX300 can work on both 27 and 29 meg. The change needs to be done interally. So it is one or the other! Not both.

Never done it. Give Garmin or Avnic trading a call, they should be able to help you. I think there is a chip inside that you change. Kind of like those you find in upper end radio control toys.

Why whould you want to? If you open it, there is a chance you'll damage the seals.

I would like to change it because at the moment i have only got 3 channels:

and i would like to have channels 1-48 as the Manuel says is possible through changing the frequencies.

Is it absolutely impossible to have both marine and 4x4 channels on your GME GX300? I know I am responding to very old news but your comments would still be appreciated. Thanking you kindly.
