Help in Ballito area

hey there guys,

whats happening hope all is well with you all.

arriving in ballito tomorrow, 5th Agust, leaving on the 12th.

anyone doing some fishing this weekend, looking for some local knowledge or advise on where to go and what to try.

for some reason ive always battled like crazy in that area just to get a pull.

would really appreciate the help boys.

Ballito is sometimes a very strange place. One day its boiling and the next, its a graveyard.

Try High Rock. Its next to Christmas Bay and normally produces the goods. Esp at night. You can also try Boulders bay in the mornings.

Try a live bait early in the mornings as the garrick have moved into the area. Apparently shad are on the bite a high rock in the mornings too.

A wide range of species can be targetted but at the moment the rock fish are reigning. Sard, prawn, chokka, baby squid and cracker are working well.

Watch out for MCM, always carry your permit and stick to sizes and bag limits. Foolish behaviour can quickly pu an end to a good holiday!!!

The sea was horrible last night. We fished in no-bite bay all night.Hopefully the sea settles today.

If you are game, we can meet up on High rock on sat morning at 6am. Im keen on fishing this weekend, if not High Rock, then Im off to Toti for the Garrick. If you guys are interested, either mail me at shikaar@searchfusion.co.za or call ome on 083 566 1964...

thanks for the tips guys, always good to get some local knowledge. im keen on trying high rock, could someone explaine exactly where it is to me. im staying at kenwyn on sea on ballitos main beach.
and boulders, is that the little bay right infront of the boulders holiday flats? the little bay that forms between the two rock outcrops?
well like i said im keen on trying a few spots and im here until wednesday next week. my number is 082 563 1507
