hey guys.  so heres my deal.  i have surched on line and ebay and everywere elce to try and find a dealer in the usa that can get there hands on south african style rock and surf rod.  the problem is that  letsay  shimano.  i want a technium elite heavy and they tell me it dosent exsist.  well i know for a fact that it does.   i would also be interested in a possidon assin.  nope not gona happen.  so heres my thing.  does anyone here have any clue how i can get my hands on one.????   i would love to just paypal someone money and have them go get one and ship it to me .  the problem there is i dont know anyone here. <no offence> and i dont realy want to loose my money.  you know what i meen. 

any help would be greatly appriceanted.

Speak to enigma on here to design you one maybe...but you might have to wait in line ;) I want one first haha

Some of our countries best rod builders are members of the forum here and resident shark madmen. And quite helpful but quite injured and recovering too so expect him to get back to you when he can? Otherwise hit up our local online suppliers, I'm sure they would love some export business and ask questions here regarding your choices if you are not sure as there are a whole lotta helpful and experienced folk around.

I don't know this guy, but look at some of his recent "rod worx".. He does work for "trophies tackle den" and trophy is a very well respected member and moderator here. With the exchange rate and our worthless currency, and our wealth of rod building experience, it is the right time to order South African rods!

I bought 3 x rods from enigma about 4 years ago , Paid all upfront , waited about 3 months for the rods and all three were a disaster. All  the rods were badly finished and the carbon was peeling off. He blamed Purglas , but surely you check the quality before sending them off. Not impressed with his work. I know some of you swear by him , but that was my experience . If you are ordering from far , make sure that the rod is correct before it leaves our shores.

Just to make it clear: Craig did refund me , but the point is that I got given 3 x bad rods , 1 x is maybe excusable but all 3 rods ? Sorry but in my book that is just swak.
