Hello ouens.
Ek gaan Paas naweek Oranjeville toe. Ek soek asb tips vir die grootes.
Hoe diep ( Het n boot ) wat om te gebruik vir voer en wat om te gebruik vir hoek aas.
Ek soek pap gooi en spesie hengel tips.  :fishn

Ek was al 2 keer daar en die grootste wat ek/ons kon kry was 4.5kg, dis nie eintlik 'n spesie plek nie. Jy moet maar diep gaan 250m + vir ok size vis. Die oord self is maar 'n gagga plek, kan nie die swembad gebruik nie, badkamers is vuil ens.

Was there for new years spent 3 days fishing, caught on the second day a good size, most people make feeding spots with onion sacks and alot of stuff. I cast about 100m+ had 3 rods cast them at the same spot every hour to create my own feeding spot.

Caught a 5 kg and 2 3-3.5 kg carps and one grass carp which i lost as I was about to scoop.

Used SWD backing and jumbo banjo floaties dipped in vathom, and also had success on plain foaties dipped in stephenson gel dips which I found as asample in the bottle I think.

You will be kept very busy though not sure if you already went, but the above was what I caught on.:fswim

also there are alot of yellows there cut the small carps or muddies and throw one line in with fish head overnight.

Im heading to Steyns tomorrow hope the weather stays like it it is now for the whole wken.:wfish
