Hello guys ,I have just started specimen carp angling and was wondering if i could you use a bright yellow braid as main line as i cant afford other braid now,do I need to use a leader too? Thanks

You don't have to use braid, mono with a high braking strain will work just fine

Yes you can use it, the color will fade. What breaking strain is the braid? It is a good idea to use a mono leader with braid.

All I know is it says super fine braid . O.37mm its from kingfisher?

0.37mm braid could easily be 50lb braid. But like specimen fanatic said you don't have to use braid.

Yellow braid will be fine just use a long mono leader

Problem is braid doesn't have a lot of abrasion resistance and can also cut into structure, that and with no stretch you might get hook pulls and lose fish. It's advisable to use a mono leader.
