Heads up - KP Marine in Durban

Hiya all,

Just a heads up.

On 26/06/2009 I ordered fuel pump kits for my evenrude 40's (VRO pups) from KP Marine after a sealiner referred me to them.

They supplied the wrong kits and I duly returned the kits intact the 19th of July. Ever since they could also not supply me with impellers or complete pumps that I ordered even after they  confirmed that they had stock.

I can also not get a refund out of them. The manager, Kenny does also not return my calls. The person answering their phone will also not give me Kenny's correct cell number.

I am not a happy chappie right now.

So beware when dealing with KP Marine.

I went there once, not in a good area, too many junkers in their yard and the guy looked like a typical car salesman ripoff type. I always trust my gut, it said keep away!!

I have been there a few times and they look like a dodgy lot - you have to stay sharp when dealing with them - the stuff that I got was ok but then I was there to look at it before handing over any cash, not like ordering from far??

Are these the guys who were on the corner of Point Road and Brown Road in Durban? I think they were KP Marine but driving passed there today I see the shop is gone?
