HDS 8 wonky mapping

Check if your units are right.

Degrees minutes and seconds, or degrees minutes and decimals of minutes.

30 seconds and 0,3 of a minute are very different.

30 seconds = 0,5 of a minute.

0,2 of a minute =370 meters.

That is the difference between 33 35. 300 in different units and that is just for latitude, if you have the same error on longitude, go figure.

He was definitely using the background charts, not the actual Navionics charts.

fishton was correct had to reset the charts to navionic and it sorted itself out will check when i use again as take it off boat after every trip wether it goes back or not
