Has anyone heard anything about the coming season or if our quota is being further reduced?? Have scouted out some nice holes, now it just needs to become legal

Wow, what a bummer if I remember read correctly..."The current proposal confirms that the catch limit will be reduced to 69 tons or 21 days of fishing."

The 2014/15 season for recreational fishing of WCRL will open on Saturday, 15 November 2014, and will close on Monday, 6 April 2014.
The 2014/15 WCRL recreational fishing effort will be restricted to 21 days and will be split as
follow:
ï‚· Fishing allowed from 15 November 2014 to 16 November 2014 (2 days)
ï‚· No fishing allowed from 17 November 2014 until 15 December 2014
ï‚· Fishing allowed from 16 December 2014 to 16 December 2014 (1 day)ï‚· No fishing allowed from 17 December 2014 until 19 December 2014
ï‚· Fishing allowed from 20 December 2014 to 2 January 2015 (14 days)
ï‚· No fishing allowed from 3 January 2015 until 2 April 2015
ï‚· Fishing allowed from 3 April 2015 to 6 April 2015 (4 days)

I was in Yzerfontein yesterday, 16 Dec 2104, and they have closed the harbour wall to kreefing for this 2014/15 season!?
Apparently you are not allowed to catch between Yzserfontein to Dassen Island.

What a waste of time...
