Gavin and I got on the water at Kor Fakkan just as the sun started to rise.
We were expecting an early morning feed and was looking for birds feeding and not one bird seen feeding the whole day.
Next game plan.
We troll lures and target area's that has produce for us before....

07:00 to 12:15...
Are we going to blank????
Just out of the harbour as ship is lying in anchor.
We had bait fish boiling there early in the morning but no takes on any of the lures we cast or trolled past.
Finally around 12:30 we decided to go back and have a look...
There was still bait fish around and I got a foul hook up again with the Yuzuri...
But now we know that the Dorado's are around.
They are not interested in any lures so our only other option is live bait.
Out comes the sabiki trace and we have live bait.
Here is my first haul ever on a sabiki and hand line...
Lots of concentration and technique and ....

Gavin was using his 4000 Shimano Grinder with the Shimano Beast Master Tiger Special spinning rod...
1st ONE for the day.

I have never fished with live bait.
We normally concentrate on lure angling but if that does not work... Boer Maak 'n Plan!!!!
My 1st fish on live bait...
So after a slow start to the day we caught about 9 Dorado.
I again did 2 on short line release....
On the way home....
