Good day all...im looking for a handheld gps(etrex10) or so........condition doesn't worry me as im still new in the kayak game and rolling in the surf is second nature to me. can be old, can be ugly,as long as its working and....cheap cheap.
I might be crazy if saying i have R500 for an old etrex10. but maybe somebody has one gathering dust.

I use mine sorry..get one, hack it and put the bluecharts on..boya!

If your cell is water proof get yourself a GPS app like back country navigator, it is a very good alternative to a GPS, it certainly has way more functionality than a Garmin 10

The forum that used to explain how to do the hack does not exist anymore, pity.. I wonder if the files are still hosted on the web somewhere? Those little devices have so much functionality but don't come loaded with great maps.
