Aaawe. Pity I only joined SeaLine late. Whould have been nice if I could've been there. Definitely will be there if you guys have one of those float comps again.

Edit: Mmm. Sorry, but I don't think I'll join the Kickboat Bass Challenge next time. I'm definitely a Catch-Photo-Release (without "forgetting" to unhook) kinda guy.

::tclaph Hehe, basslover.

I knew I would get someone from the floattube comps attention. And to see that it's the organizer, I would like to say well done on orginizing the last comp, supa jog. Been reading the post, and was very impressed.

I was saying in the last post as humour ::jest. I saw the picture on Kickboat Bass Challange about livebait allowed, and I just felt sorry for that little one, having a few keepers grining as it gets released back.

Sorry :-D , I probly have a weird sense of humour ::mwird

No worries....we are still working on some of the rules....we have most of the legal legislations etc. so we are working hard...lol...
The bass classic was awsome and will be awesome every year in february at murray park, but i personally think that the kickboat bass challenge is going to be just as good!!!
3 x challenge comps and then the top 10/15(still need to decide on this) will go through to the classic in feb. at Murray park. Invitation only...for the classic...

The next comp will be 6June09 at homestead lake...All the details will be out A.S.A.P.

First comp is on the 27th of April on the Vaal

Yeah i saw this....
Thumbs up too bassafrica this is very good news for all float tube anglers, im sure...
But there was a couple of rules that did bother me a bit....And i did email them about it...and havent received a reply on this....but this is a post i made on another forum about the comp a couple of weeks ago.

- its being held in the same spots as all the other big boat bass comps.
- you need a lifewell, this is a bit difficult with you float tubes, but not for the inflatable guys.
- Its a team competition(and are not aloud to change your team mate for a year...something like that. This is a great idea, but do they allow guys to compete alone and will this person have to pay the R250.00 that all the other teams are paying?)
- Im not sure where the starting point is for the vaal river comp??Is it eligwa club or abrahamsrust, or is both of them the same place, not what i know of??
- Its going to take them a while to get to the good spots and away from the boats on the vaal river, if they are just aloud to be on there electric motors.

This is just my zim dollar use it dont use it.

But what i have seen is that Bass Africa is really good with events and planning of competitions like these, so i wish them all the best.
A big THUMBS UP for them for all the effort.

And just when i opened my email box now i got this email from Petro....

Dear Bass Angler,

We have decided to change the venue of the competition  on the 27[sup]th[/sup] April 09 from the Vaalriver to Boskop Dam near Potchefstroom.

There contact number is ; 018-298-1110

Boskop Dam has very good accommodation facilities at the Nature Convervation Resort:
Caravan and Camping with ablution facilities.

The reason for this is that there is to much boat activities on the Vaalriver aspecially for the non motorize boats.

The time and everything els will stay the same.

If you need any further information please contact me on  011-467-7007

I think im on standby that weekend...otherwise i would have been there...but i have a livewell problem:alien in anycase....

But good luck to anyone competing.

I just think it is a bit lame of them to host it the weekend of the Inanda classic. I would have loved to fish the first comp but will be down in Durban and as far as I know these dates are the same as the Cast 4 cash
