Im going down to Margate for a week next week, can anyone tell me what to expect, etc, etc.

what can you expect - well let see - traffic long drive and then there is a lot of ppl.::H

 

sorry just had to - fished Margate a long time ago when there was still a pier to fish from - tell me is it still closed or has the pier been fixed up ?

best would be to ask at Gremlins in Margate for assistance

well you can go to gremlins and ask for brendan poole or rob .the pier is actually broken.shad are chowing thick and the kob are wild on the spits.good luck

get some mud prawn and stand on the tidal pool wall and there will be two gullies (one on the left and one on the right) both are equally as good for big bronze bream and very big blacktail.

the only thing its a bit tricky to land the fish. please remember to hold your rod tight for the odd brusher!!! they pull really hard.

the kob are coming out and the hounds are going well. the big news is that the garrick are starting to come thick at splash so get the karro swimming!!!!!!!!
