Have any of you had success by catching quality fish when using gummies as bait? No combo’s – gummies only!

I’ve only once had a proper run while using gummies (sweetcorn flavor/scent), but think it was a barble actually. Only once! I rig them on a hair-rig, same way you would rig a boillie or tiger. Maybe it’s only me, but I rather think to stick with normal mielies, floaties, tigernut and boillies in the future.
What’s your take on this bait?

Not a bait for rigging on a hair rig.

It is also not a bait for fishing a bait longer than 2 hours as it will then be off the hook as would any other paste bait

Caught a very large number of fish on them in conventional bank angling applications with the dusk and dawn ones my favourite

I am by no means an expert but a few weeks ago we went fishing on the Wilge river and most of the carp caught was cought on gummies.
