Guess these Barbel Weights

[Ryan]

Hi All,

Something that has bothered me for some time is how big fish really are and what they look like in relation to their Weight.

Therefore I'm Gonna post some photies of barbel caught this morning at Bloemhof on artlure and maybe some of you's would be willing to guesitmate the wts. I know what they are as I weighed them.

Please remeber these are big barbel so don't under guestimate.

Regards

Ryan

Right, Ryan, can we have weights pls... before I start chucking buns and lures at these two

[Land Locked]

Loams, you could always take a lil trip and go see for yourself. We need a few more replies before we're going to be given the weights.(I wanna chuck buns n lures at Rayn right now) The suspense is killing me, I WANNA KNOW. I do accept that until we have more input Rayn is not giving us the weights.

[Ryan]

Right Laddies heres the truth.

Photo 1. 8.2kgs

Photo 2. Left 11.35 and right 12.33 yes 1kg difference between the 2

Photo 3. 10.8kgs

Photo. 4. 11.01kgs

Photo 5. 12.33 kgs same fish as above with the smaller one.

Makes one think when you read our various mags - some peeps really over exaggerate the weights - then again how you hold the fish makes all the difference.

Thanks for all your response gonna have to post sum records...........

[Ryan]

6.2kg caught on fly in howling wind.......

[bjornh]

okay my exaggerations were over-the-top!
my bad!
yeah but seriously it does make you think of some of the weights given in mags...esp stywe lyne!!!my gooOdness we use to flip to the centre page and have a chuckle every month!
