Groot Brak

Hi.
Been in Groot Brak since Wednesday. Here for another 2 weeks. Are there any rocks to fish from in the area? Been to Southern Cross, my dad got a bite and thats it. I am staying at Pine creek. The river here does not look promising, I have never caught anything from the beach, Yesterday we had a strong cros current and the bait was getting rolled around and stripped off the hook. I have used foam as a base and have been combining squid and sardine. Sardine does not stay on too long. Been learning to cast wth my sl50. not really getting the distance I want but the crows nests are not too bad and I am getting better at limmiting them. I have had some good succes in the past from off the rocs but dont know of any close by and I dont know the area. Please if anybody can give me some advice and tips it would be greatly appreciated. Drive on the old road from Grootbrak towards George you'll see Pienaarstrand and if you want rocks Glentana,its about 5km from Grootbrak.
As you enter Glentana you keep left and park under the tree,from there you walk left onto the beach and then left towards the old shipwreck..caught some nice kob there a while ago at the first rocks +- 300 metres from the parking and good size Crackers also feed there.
Dont know why but redbait isnt very high on the menu there.
