Groot brak area, Help needed!!

Hi All, I am going down to Groot brak over Xmas and NY to stay with the missus's folks and thought a lot of fishing is gonna have to be done to get me out of the house.

What has the fishing been like in that area lately and does anyone have any tips for me? what bait/lures/dropshot to use, is it my best bet to target Grunter, cob and garrick and where are the best spots to fish? I've seen a lot of people say, rather fish the klein brak river?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Try Suiderkruis beach for Kabeljou on dropshot. Kleinbrak river for Grunter and the first rocks (2nd parking) between Reebok and Kleinbrak river for everything else. Nice Garrick in Vleesbaai.

What is the Grootbrak Rivier like for Grunter? Gonna have a small boat with me and it would be easiest to fish there, or am I wasting my time?

With small boat rather fish Kleinbrak river, 10 km from Groot Brak. The Kleinbrak deliver much more.
