Grinder Rod Advice Needed

Hi there
Does anybody have the above mentioned rod : Blue Marlin Els Distance?

If you do - please could you help me out with a few things...

1. What is the length of the rod from the tip to the end of the reel seat? In cm preferably

2. How much does the rod weigh?

3. Is it quite a thick rock?

4. Please could you also upload a picture or two of the butt and how the extendable part works

No tackle shops in my area have the rod for me to have a look at and I can't seem to find much information about it on the net.

Your help will be very much appreciated! Thanks

Thanks will probably give them a call tomorrow but just wanted to see some pictures of how the butt works.

I'm actually looking for a 13ft Blue Marlin rod but cannot find anything besides entry level stuff and out of budget stuff. I've heard that the Els Distance is actually 390cm / 13ft without the butt extended so what I plan to do is fit a standard short butt to the rod to make it 13ft

I want to use it for rock and surf for good size eds and the odd non ed of medium size and from reading another post about this rod - it seems suitable for this according to Enigma

Enigma is the fishing god! Always gives outstanding advise. In fact he's the go to guy for just about anything fishing related. Also builds magnificent rods. My next rod is without a doubt going to be made by him
