Greetings from France !

Hi folks !
I'm Fred,38y old, i live in France near Paris and as far i remember i always have been a fishing addict !
So first of all please forgive me if my english is not that good, but you know froggies, they spend more doing strikes, drinking wine and whining that studying =)
So...what about me...
I'm a pike fishing addict, but anything with fins is good for me !
Perch, trout, bass, zander anything that can be cought with a lure is sexier to me than a mount of gold...catch and release only !
I've been an admin on a french fishing forum for 2years, but i've stopped it due to a huuuuuge amount of work and some health problems.
If one day you plan to come and fish in France or Europe, i'll gladly help you to find the good guys and the good spots !

Thanks !

Thx =)
Northern spain...there's a lot of cool spots in Spain, from shores to rivers and a lot of lakes with huuuuuuuge pikes and zanders !
Yeah Navarra I know has some HUGE pike but I have my eyes set on Extramadura and then the river Ebro in the La Rioja region...Want a proper Wels catfish and a fat carp!
There are some excellent carp fishing in France but never got a chance to visit any of the venues...

Extramadura is known as a golden spot for monsters !
I've so many articles on it, but it seems that it's getting worst with times as they're changing rules and legislations every years, and adding more and more taxes start to refrain people to go there (at least for French guys...)
They're also facing big problems with poachers from east europe that set sea nets during the night...

And a friendly (Boere) South African welcome to you. :welcomesea:
You will find that the anglers active on this forum are mostly from Africa... more specifically South Africa. But angling is like love making. It is a universal past time and my experience is that all anglers share the same passion with regards to their mutual past time, being angling. Doesn't matter whether it is freshwater or marine.
So enjoy and feel free to participate. ;)
