I had a GW50 good distance, then i used a GW30 better distance and you using thinner line which counts for more distance . i would say throw 0.40mm with a leader of at least.65mm I normally use maxima as a leader .70mm
Depending on the rod and sinker ,bait etc. you looking @ easy 120m-140m. if you can cast good you can get way more than that.
I use a GW30 Z silver one that was limited. Has more bearing than the gold GW 30 5 bearing as opposed to 3 , also on the handle it has a roller bearing and not a bush. both these GW's spool disengages.
But alos look at the saltist 30h spool doesn't disengage but i get better distance with it. I get around 147m . I also have braid on it as a backing and 220 mono. I calculated 147m when i got the reel. Now i throw almost into the braid, but i don't think its close to 220 maybe 160m. Looks can be decieving and with bait you don;t get the same distance as only a sinker. also every day you cast the wind is different.
