I will be fishing the river and mouth in early April 2012, any advise on best spots from the shore and best baits for grunter and cob?

Hi,

Best bait is (always, in any system I think) the stuff you find where you are fishing. There are lots of prawn (for the grunter) and lots of mullet (for the cob).

Do a search on the site for the best spots, there is quite a bit of information.

Take you prawn pump along.
