:goodmcHi Guys just wanted to let you know that i have finally got my lgf's

We went fishing on sunday the 2nd March 2008 in vanderbijlpark and caught 17 bass in 4 hours and lost about 15 more we also got hooked in to a couple of kurpers

Didnt have a camera there with me and decided that i would rather not kill them for a picture back home or at the bakkie with my cellphone so we let them go Afraid that 4 of them however swalloed our spinners and crancks and just didnt make it::eek:op::

 

The bass were all between 100mm to 300mm and next time i am taking a scale and camera

The Kurpers were all small in the 120mm region

Hi Ryan allready an addict think im suffering withdrawel symptoms

Mornay we went at a dam in vanderbijlpark it doesnt have a name or anything and fishing is free it is behind the college

Vern it was great

Sorry to bug you. Can you pls give me more info toget there. From Boksburg so I needlittle bit more help. Would like to try it out sometime. Itching to go and try and fish forsome Bass.

I checked out this dam yesterday and was surprised to find it in the middle of a suburb....it was like finding a gold mine or treasure!!Ive herd stories that its awsome to fish there...water isnt that clean but hey,must be cleaner than the vaal river...hehehehe
Generaal...what lures or bait did you use?and where is the best spot in this dam...i saw there is some logs in there....i love my logs!!!hahahaha

Hey guys well its nice to know what the name of my fishing spot is There is some nice Carp in the damn as well as barber they caught a 15kg one there 2 weeks ago

Hey LGF here is a pic of the :f1shy  that didnt make it and me and my swaer caught 5 more on Sunday the 9th on our way to shopping mall to pick up the girls so again no camera or scale as we were really cutting the time thin

Generaal....i think you spoke to my friend on friday night...hehehehe...yeah we were there on saturday!Was raining but it was good fun... i caught 4 but my friend unfortunatly didnt catch anything. i caught one on top water and the other three on a finnesse worm(BABY BASS colour)3 small ones and a nice 1.2KG

glad to see you got something that place can be very unpredictable that way wit some guys cathing loads and the guy right next to him not even getting a hit where abouts on the damn did u try by the submerged tree stumps, reeds to the right of the concrete or on the other side at the inlet? I am definitly going there over this easter weekend just to test my dingy and get away from evrything else

Yeah me to...let me know what day and time....we were everywhere in the dam cause we were on float tubes i did get a lot of bites and fish on the other side where all the gunk is...and at the reeds nearest to the technikon...but we did see allot of fish at the tree stumps...thats where we started...and we didnt know what to use yet,because of the weather...and when we wanted to go back their, the rain just got worse...so defo going there on friday saturday and monday..or something like that...

Im Definitly goin to be there on Saturday and maybe Sunday
Friday afternoon is a maybe cuz im just quickly popping down to Richardsbay 2mrw morning and then back friday morning

cool....ja might do some top water friday late afternoon...otherwise...im going on saturday....wont be able to go the hole day cos im studiyng for a massive exam on the 28th but ill defo be there!!see you..

K just realised i got my days entirely mixed up im driving down to richards day tommorow mrn and back thursday I thought today was wednesday so im Going to try for the whole day Friday aswell
