Good morning All. Have a peek at this banax 50 reel i got in also a restore and rebuild. It ended up as a success story but was a lot of work and cost money to rebuild again. Every bearing in this reel was replaced as well as the anti reverse roller bearing too, if you look at the picture showing the inside of the roller you will note 1 roller is missing. Corrosion had set in and the grease had been caking a while already, this reel would not turn as well. When you swim with reels for shark fishing please service them at least once a season on a multiplier. This repair was a costly exercise which could be avoided by servicing your reel on time. Sea water has no respect for anything metallic so you need to also play your part with swimming and getting sand inside them.
