Good morning All, have a look at these old penn reels I restored for Tian Botha. They hold lots of sentimental value for him as were passed on by his dad down to him. Check the pics out enjoy please. These old reels are legends in themselves they built the brand to what it is today.
Check out my face book oage for all the pics jinathans reel repairs

Penn 49?

Nice.

I also have one at home that has not been used in many moons. Was my wife's late fathers.

I would like to restore it sometime....maybe it brings me good luck.

Hi old salt, with what do you clean the reels if I may ask. See the reels had some surface corrosion, how do you get rid of that? I have used scotch gaurd but it leaves small scrach marks.
I use sunlight and lemon juice to clean my ones.
Thanks
