Not a place for night fishing. You need to climb down steep decline and walk across rocks, bush, etc.Hence the name Misty Cliffs. And you'd park far from your car and if anyone breaks into it you can't get to it quick enough. No,definitely not safe at night.I was down there a month ago but jost lost gear as it's very rocky and water gets pretty rough pushing your hook and sinker(spark plug) into rocks.Cheers!

Hi Walt, are you talking about reports from Baily's ito steenbras?

The sea was looking awsome today, and i swear i could smell the fish!  Or, was it just all the whales that were in the bay?

Jislaaik, even me with limited casting distance can get to them!   Yes, fishing have not been productive for me.  I have not given up, but steadily growing exited about the summer season slowly creeping up on us.  Keeping a keen eye to the tail spinning spot infront of the station at Simonstown.  You never know.. this could be my lucky season.  In the meantime i'm working on getting my golf handicap down.
